Njegov rival u drugoj rundi Rolan Garosa Nikolas Almagro morao je da pred meč početkom trećeg seta zbog povrede.
Problematično lijevo koljeno nije moglo više da izdrži, kao i uplakani Španac koji je u očajanju legao na teren.
Nikolas nije mogao da sakrije suze s obzirom na to da je očigledno u pitanju teža povreda, a Delpo mu je spakovao torbu i ispratio ga sa terena.
Almagro je slično reagovao i nedavno na Mastersu u Rimu kada je zbog istog problema predao meč Rafaelu Nadalu koji mu je takođe pružio podršku.
