Crna Gora je, prema podacima Eurostata, rekorder kada je pitanju dob u kojoj se mladi osamostaljuju od roditelja.
Naime, mladi u Crnoj Gori, osamostaljuju se tek sa prosječne 33,3 godine što je više i nego u zemljama regiona.
U Evropskoj uniji mladi u prosjeku napuštaju roditeljski dom sa 26,4 godina, a najranije to čine Šveđani, već sa 17.
Hrvati sa roditeljima žive do 32,4 godine, slijede Makedonci (32,1), Srbi (31,2).
Danci (21,2), Njemci (23,8) i Francuzi (24 godine).
