Poslanica ruske Dume i nekadašnja klizačica, Irina Rodnina, u intervjuu za “RB Sport” osudila je izjavu Aleksandra Dolgopolova, tenisera koji je javno rekao da Danil Medvedev i ostatak ruskih tenisera mora biti isključen sa turnira.

“Sada je to opšta situacija i možda negdje treba da steknemo mudrost i strpljenje. To što je rekao je i smiješno. Za ukrajinskog tenisera koji nije ni u prvih 100 igrača bolje je da uopšte ne brblja”, rekla je Rodnina, podsjećajući na bombardovanje Jugoslavije i učešće zemalja koje su bile predstavnice NATO pakta u svim takmičenjima:
“Kada su sve NATO zemlje bombardovale Jugoslaviju, mirno su učestvovale u svim takmičenjima. Ja ćutim o Americi, koja je vodila tolike ratove, a niko nikada u cijeloj istoriji olimpijskog pokreta nije pokrenuo pitanje o uklanjanju sportista iz SAD. Ovo još jednom pokazuje selektivnost i veoma bolan odnos prema našim odlukama”, kazala je.
Ne “kad se bombardovala…”, nego “kad je bombardovana…”
