Đukanović primio je novoimenovanu šeficu Misije OEBS u Crnoj Gori Dominik Vag
Uz dobrodošlicu u Crnu Goru, poželio je uspješnu misiju u našoj zemlji uz želju za nastavak vrlo plodne saradnje Crne Gore sa OEBS-om i u narednom periodu na temeljima dosadašnjeg iskustva. On je podsjetio da je tokom proteklih 15 godina OEBS pružao dragocjenu i korisnu saradnju u realizaciji reformi koje su nas vodile dalje na evropskom putu, kroz unapređenje izbornog sistema, vladavine prava, na planu borbe protiv organizovanog kriminala i korupcije, bezbjednosti i važne ekspertize u pravcu usvajanja evropskih standarda u oblasti ljudskih prava i sloboda. Dalja podrška OEBS-a biće značajna u kontekstu ostvarenja strateškog cilja Crne Gore, članstva u EU, čemu smo posvećeni kao apsolutnom prioritetu, posebno svjesni deficita karakterističnih za region u kojem živimo, kazao je Predsjednik. On je zahvalio OEBS-u i ODIHR-u za kontinuiranu podršku unapređenju izbornog sistema i demokratskih procesa, uz iskazanu spremnost da kroz unaprijeđeni rad parlamenta i dalje radimo na otklanjanju uočenih slabosti sistema i primjeni preporuka sa poslednjih izbora. Uz zahvalnost na svim pomoćima, posebno u u borbi sa COVID-om, Predsjednik je naglasio da OEBS može računati na dalje posvećeno partnerstvo sa Crnom Gorom kao odgovornom članicom NATO i kandidatom za članstvo u EU, kroz 4-oro godišnji program saradnje i zajednički rad na ostvarenju strateških ciljeva.
Šefica Misije OEBS-a u Crnoj Gori Dominik Vag kazala je da je Crna Gora uvijek bila snažan i pouzdan partner OEBS-u, zahvaljujući i Predsjedniku Crne Gore. „Misija će nastaviti da podržava Crnu Goru na njenom putu, podržavajući jačanje njenih demokratskih institucija i bezbjednosti“, kazala je Vag. Ona je istakla da konstruktivan politički dijalog unutar institucija i među svim političkim akterima ostaje ključan za budući razvoj zemlje. „ODIHR će nastaviti da podržava proces izborne reforme“.
Zajednički je ocijenjeno da je prioritet dalje saradnje unapređenje vladavine prava, borba protiv organizovanog kriminala i korupucije, reforme izbornog zakonodavstva, unapređenje ljudskih prava i sloboda, i sloboda i profesionalnost medija.
