Kako da (lako) dekupažirate
Riječ decoupage dolazi od francuske riječi “decouper”. U prijevodu to znači “isjeći” ili “sjeckati”. Ova tehnika se sastoji od lijepljenja isjeckanih i aranžiranih papira na neku obojenu površinu. Lakiranje je isto vrlo važan dio ove tehnike. Kinezi su koristili papire veselih boja za ukrašavanje kutija, prozora i slično. Na taj način je ova tehnika dospjela na područje Europe.
Procvat decoupagea se desio u 17.stoljeću. U to vrijeme su ovu tehniku doživljavali kao umjetnost siromašnih. Iz godine u godinu deoupage se na područjima Europe razvijao, te su se stvorile razne varijacije na temu. Moglo bi se reći da je najpoznatija salvetna tehnika. Svaki čvrsti predmet možete dekorirati ovom tehnikom. U pitanju može biti drvo, staklo, metal, keramika, karton.
Što Vam je potrebno za Decoupage?
- Trebate izabrati predmet koji želite dekorirati.
- Trebate nabaviti materijal koji ćete lijepiti na predmet (salvete, fotografije, čipku, neku posebnu vrstu ukrasnog papira i slično)
- Potreban Vam je alat s kojim ćete rezati takve materijale. Preporučamo škare ili skalpel
- Potrebno Vam je i ljepilo. Pitate se kakva vrsta ljepila? Možete koristiti obična sintetička ljepila, ili lak ljepila. Također, u svakom malo boljem hobby shopu možete pronaći ljepila za decoupage.
- Potrebna Vam je neka četkica (kist) za nanošenje ljepila.
- Lak za zaštitu. Nije važno koji. Važno je da u sebi nema uljanu osnovu.
- Akrilna boja, koju ćete koristiti za podlogu.
- Još jedna četka (kist) za nanošenje akrilne boje.

Kada ste nabavili sve što Vam je potrebno, možete krenuti u akciju. Ova tehnika zahtijeva dosta vremena i strpljenja.
- Prvo trebate obojiti predmet akrilnom bojom.
- Nakon toga je potrebno isjeckati motive koje planirate lijepiti na predmet.
- Prije nego što ih počnete lijepiti, posložite slike u željeni oblik. Ljepilo se nanosi na površinu predmeta i onda se razmaže. Budite jako pažljivi i precizni pri lijepljenju.
- Morate istisnuti sav zrak ispod motiva.
- Kada sve završite i kad se sve posuši, prelakirajte predmet.
