Mitropolit crnogorsko-primorski Joanikije kazao je da pojedinim političarima u današnjoj Crnoj Gori smeta slava mitropolije na čijem je čelu i naglasio da ona svjedoči vjeru i čuva identitet naroda, a da “ničije ne otima, niti ugrožava bilo čije pravo”.
On je, nakon susreta sa srpskim članom Predsedništva BiH Miloradom Dodikom u manastiru Ždrebaonik, istakao da je Mitropolija crnogorsko-primorska nastavila kontinuitet Pećke patrijaršije i da je imala ogromnu ulogu u očuvanju Srpske pravoslavne crkve, prenosi RTRS.

On je ocijenio da pojedinim političarima u današnjoj Crnoj Gori smeta NJegoševa veličina i slava Mitropolije crnogosko-primorske koja je, kako je naglasio, neodvojivi dio Srpske pravoslavne crkve od njenog osnivanja, od Svetog Save do danas.
“Kada ovo govorimo ne želimo da ugrožavamo ničija prava, ne otimamo ničije pravo, niti imovinu, nego samo svjedočimo vjeru i čuvamo svoj identitet i svoje nasleđe. To se pokazalo ponajbolje u vrijeme odbrane naših svetinja kada smo imali podršku cijelog pravoslavlja, uključujući sve srpske zemlje, uključujući i Republiku Srpsku gđje su počele i prve litije podrške i mi to ne zaboravljamo”, poručio je mitropolit Joanikije.
