“Najgori scenario bio bi “sudar” gripa i korone”
Usložnjavanje epidemiološke situacije značilo bi da u jednoj sredini istovremeno dominiraju sezonski grip i korona virus, a a najgori scenario bila bi istovremena infekcija kod onog pacijenta koji nije vakcinisan ni protiv jedne bolesti, upozorila je za Portal RTCG epidemiološkinja Instituta za javno zdravlje (IJZ) Marija Božović.
Stoga apeluje na građane, naročito na stariju populciju, da se vakcinišu kako bi se izbjegli neželjeni ishodi.
Ona, u susret sezonskom gripu, a u jeku epidemije korona virusa, kaže da je situacija neizvjesna, jer zavisi od više faktora.
Pojašnjava da je covid-19, kao visoko-prenosiva virusna infekcija koja je dovela do nekoliko miliona smrtnih slučajeva širom svijeta, postala izazov svjetskim zdravstvenim sistemima.
Nastaviti s preventivnim mjerama
Kazala je da u susret sezonski aktivnog virusa gripa moramo voditi računa, prije svega, o visoko rizičnim kategorijama stanovništva, ali i insistirati da pored vakcinacije nastavimo sa primjenom preventivnih mjera, kao što su održavanje distance i nošenje maske koje su u mnogome smanjile prenos drugih respiratornih virusa tokom prethodne sezone.
“Usložnjavanje epidemiološke situacije bi značilo da istovremeno dva virusa dominiraju u jednoj sredini, što generalno gledano nije uobičajeno kada su u pitanju respiratorni virusi. Smatra se da je infekcija virusom gripa slična COVID-19 u kliničkoj prezentaciji, mehanizmu prenošenja i sezonskim podudarnostima. Istovremena infekcija virusom influence i SARS-CoV2 može ometati dijagnozu i liječenje pacijenata. Osim toga, ova koinfekcija, posebno u visokorizičnim skupinama pacijenata, može pogoršati simptome i komplikacije bolesti”, pojasnila je Božović.
Na pitanje kakve su preporuke kad je u pitanju vakcinacija protiv sezonskog gripa, ali i istovremeno i protiv korona virusa, Božović: je odgovorila: “Vakcine protiv covid-19 mogu se primijeniti zajedno s vakcinom protiv gripa istog dana kao i u roku od 14 dana”.
Govoreći o posljedicama istovremene zaraze koronom i sezonskim gripom, Božović je rekla da “kod nekih virusnih infekcija istovremene infekcije s drugim bakterijskim i virusnim uzročnicima mogu pogoršati komplikacije i povećati smrtnost od bolesti”.
Simptomi sezonskog i korona virusa
“Isto se može reći i za infekciju SARS-CoV2; međutim, nema dovoljno dokaza koji ukazuju na to da takve istovremene infekcije povećavaju mortalitet od bolesti. Najgori scenario bi bila istovremena infekcija oba virusa kod jedne osobe, koja nije vakcinisana ni protiv jedne bolesti. Zbog važnosti ovog problema i mogućnosti ozbiljnih komplikacija u kategoriji visokorizičnih ili hospitalizovanih pacijenata se naročito preporučuje vakcinacija protiv gripa, posebno kod starijih osoba”, rekla je Božović.
Preciznije podatke o stizanju vakcine protiv sezonskog gripa, a potom početka vakcinacije, kako je rekla, imaćemo krajem oktobra kada će, navodi Božović, javnost biti detaljnije o svemu obaviještena.
Pojasnila je i kakvi su simptomi kod sezonskog i korona virusa.
“COVID-19 i grip imaju sličnosti u ispoljavanju znakova i simptoma,pa se na osnovu kliničke slike ne može dokazati postojanje jedne ili druge infekcije bez laboratorijske potvrde”, rekla je Božović.
Uobičajeni simptomi koje COVID-19 i grip dijele su:
* Groznica ili osećaj hladnoće
* Kašalj
* Kratak dah ili otežano disanje
* Umor
* Upala grla
* Curenje ili začepljen nos
* Bol u mišićima
* Glavobolja
* Povraćanje i proliv
* Promjena ili gubitak ukusa ili mirisa, iako je to češće kod COVID-19.
