Novak Đoković počasni građanin Nikšića
Većinom odborničkih glasova danas je na sjednici SO Nikšić teniser Novak Đoković proglašen za počasnog građanina grada podno Trebjese.
Najviše vremena danas su lokalni političari potrošili upravo diskutujući o tom prijedlogu i dok su iz redova vladajuće koalicije obrazlagali da bi planetarno priznatom sportisti svaki grad sa zadovoljstvom dodijelio takvo priznanje iz redova DPS-a i njegovih koalicionih partnera tvrdili su da će biti protiv prijedloga gradonačelnika Marka Kovačevića isključivo zbog toga što je Novaku Đokoviću još 2015. godine dodijeljena Nagrada oslobođenja Nikšića, a on se nije udostojio ni da je primi, da za sve ove godine dođe u sredinu iz koje su njegovi preci, pa ni da se makar zahavli, piše Pobjeda.
“Dodijelio mu je ovaj grad najviše priznanje i ono još stoji i vitrinama lokalne uprave. Cijeno njegove rezultate, sva njegova humana djela, donacije… među našim članovima, odbornicima mnogi svim srcem navijaju za Đokovića, ali ćemo glasati protiv. Riječ je o principu i s gnušanjem odbaacujemo bilo kakve spekulacije, a pogotovo tvrdnje da smo protiv jer je on Srbin. Nije se udostojio da se zahvali, a kamo li da dođe primi prizanje najveće koje smo mu mogli dati, čak nikoga nije ni poslao da preuzme Nagradu oslobođenja Nikšića ako već nije imao vremena svih ovih godina”, kazao je odbornik DPS Marko Burić, naglašavajući da bi isti odnos imali da je riječ o bilo kojem drugom sportisti.
Na kraju je glasalo 37 odbornika, 22 su se pozitivno odredili, a 15 je bilo protiv ovog prijedloga.
