PRESUDA: Šešelj osuđen na 10 godina zatvora
Međunarodni sud u Hagu danas je pravosnažno osudio lidera Srpske radikalne stranke Vojislava Šešelja na 10 godina zatvora zbog podsticanja i počinjenja progona Hrvata u selu Hrtkovci u Vojvodini, 1992. godine.
Apelaciono vijeće suda konstatovalo je da je Šešelj kaznu već odslužio, jer je u pritvoru u Hagu bio od 2003. do 2014. godine.
Vijeće je u svim drugim aspektima odbacilo žalbu tužilaca na prvostepenu presudu kojom je Šešelj bio oslobođen krivice na zločine nad nesrbima u Hrvatskoj, Vojvodini i BiH, 1991-93.
Pravosnažnom presudom potvrđeno je da nije postojao udruženi zločinački poduhvat trajnog i nasilnog uklanjanja Muslimana i Hrvata sa velikih djelova teritorija Hrvatske i BiH, koje bi bile uključene u novu državu pod srpskom kontrolom.
Po optužnici, na čelu tog poduhvata bio je tadašnji predsjednik Srbije Slobodan Milošević, a jedan od učesnika bio je Šešelj.
