Vlasnik Dalas Maveriksa, Mark Kjuban saopštio je da će taj klub povući dres sa broj 24, u čast Kobija Brajanta.
Brajant je poginuo juče u upadu helikoptera u Kaliforniji. U tragediji je stradala i Brjantova kćerka Điana i još tri osobe.
