Ma koliko nam se život koji trenutno živimo ne sviđa, nemamo razloga da ikoga osuđujemo za sve probleme i nevolje koje su nam se objesile o rame. U životu prolazimo i kroz teška vremena ali i kroz periode oduševljenja ili barem zadovoljstva. Obično se zaboravi da je život jedna dinamično ispričana priča sa likovima koji izuzetno sliče kao da su došli iz jeftinih sapunica. Neispunjene ljubavi, varanje, nesreće i intrige su dio tog vrtuljka života. Kada smo sretni, vlastiti život ne bi mijenjali za ništa na svijetu. Ali u onim trenucima pada i posrtanja rado bi se mijenjali za živote drugih.
I tada krivimo sve oko nas, počevši od boga, roditelja, supružnika, djece, rodbine, prijatelja i političara, da su nam uništili dostojanstvo i ono malo sreće što zaslužujemo. Jer, bože moj, sreća je nešto zašto živimo, što nas pokreće i dozvoljava nam da damo sebi oduška u neobuzdanoj radosti života. Tih trenutaka a počesto i dana, pogledamo se nevoljko u ogledalo, opsujemo kroz zube i poželimo da smo negdje drugdje ili netko drugi i ne pada nam na pamet da otvoreno kritiziramo pisca i kreatora vlastitog života – nas same.
Ako vjerujemo da smo puno više od slučajne nakupine atoma i molekula, također vjerujemo da svaki život ima smisla. Da ima svoju priču, početak, sredinu i kraj. Da ima fabulu koja je ponekad zanimljiva a ponekad dosadna. Da taj život može biti ljubavna drama, pustolovina, triler, tragedija ili horor. Često se sve to izmjenjuje u slojevima pa kako nam bude. Ako sve to ima smisla i događaji se ne dešavaju slučajno poput loto kuglica, negdje mora biti poveznica ili barem niti koji sve to povezuju. Okrećemo se oko sebe da bi pronašli uzrok našeg postojanja i ne možemo ga naći. Nema ga. Ne vidimo ga. I opet tonemo u depresiju i krivnju.
Jedna od najvažnijih osobina koja nas određuje kako odrastamo jeste prihvaćanje odgovornosti. Dokazujemo roditeljima, prijateljima i samome sebi da smo dovoljno veliki i zreli da preuzmemo život pod svoje skute. Ako je to tako zašto krivimo druge za sve nevolje koje padaju na nas? Odgovornost nije ograničena samo za sretne trenutke. Odgovornost je apsolutna, neodvojiva i neizbježna u kreiranju vlastitog života. Ako smo tako otkrili uzročnika problema koji je istovremeno i uzročnik svega dobrog što nam se desi, obratimo se njemu kada nam je teško i pronađimo rješenje problema.
Podijelimo to u tri malena koračića. Kako ih budemo sve više primjenjivali u vlastitom životu ti koraci će postajati sve veći i brži. Sve što trebamo jeste da ih ponavljamo. Bitna komponenta tog hodanja kroz život je da to radimo sa punom svjesnošću, da razumijemo vlastite postupke. To je meditacija koja nas prati tijekom cijelog života.
- Kao prvi korak preuzmite odgovornost za vlastiti život i to recite jasno i glasno. Morate uvjeriti sebe da ne postoji tamo netko drugi koji kontrolira naše postupke i djelovanje. JA SAM ODGOVORAN / ODGOVORNA ZA SVOJ ŽIVOT.
- Kada uvjerite tog nevjernog Tomu, to jest sebe sama, da postoji samo jedan gazda u gradu, uzmite olovku i napišite što želite od vlastitog života. Crno na bijelo. To je drugi korak ljudske drame. Mala opaska, napišite nešto zanimljivo a ne srceparajući jeftini scenarij još jeftinijeg filma. Iskažite vlastitu kreativnost. Stvorite junaka od sebe.
- Nakon skrušenog priznanja da smo odgovorni i nakon knjige u debelim koricama, slijedi treći korak: ŽIVITE VLASTITI ŽIVOT. I to ne nevoljko, bezidejno, sa nogom na kočnici. Udahnite život punim plućima, ispustite glas da vas svi čuju i koračajte ponosno među ljude. Nek vaš život bude primjer kako se treba živjeti.
A slijedeći korak jeste: samo naprijed i ne osvrćite se. Pred vama je dugi put.
