KATERINA JE HEROINA GRKA: Volonterka koja se kao lavica bori sa požarima spašavajući što se spasti može (FOTO)
Među mnogobrojnim fotografijama požara u Grčkoj, čitavih spaljenih područja, gradova u dimu i turista koji se na brodovima sklanjaju od vatre koja prijeti da proguta i drevne helenske hramove, izdvaja se jedno lice- lice Katerine Jonadiju.
Podvig, agonija i hrabrost vide se na fotografijama koje prikazuju lice Katerine, porijeklom sa Krita, a koje su se poslednjih dana proširile društvenim mrežama jednako brzo kao i požar na Atici.
Sa crijevom u rukama i licem crnim od dima, Katerina uz veliki napor pokušava da spase ono što se može spasiti.
Volontira već osam godina, a na tome, kaže, može da zahvali “principima na kojima je vaspitavana”. Sa požarima se borila i prošle godine u Anavisosu.
Za grčke medije je ispričala da izraz na njenom licu pokazuje šta, u trenucima dok se bore sa vatrom, osjeća dok gleda kako netaknuti dio prirode odjednom nestaje u požaru.
“Moram da priznam da nisam bila uplašena ni minut, zato što sam znala da su tu moje kolege i da fantastično sarađujemo. Dala sam sve od sebe, zato što sam znala da oni neće ostaviti mene i da je neću ostaviti njih”, kazala je Katerina.
