Kovačević na Vučjem dolu povodom 13. jula: Afirmišemo datume koji spajaju građane
Predsjednik Opštine Nikšić, Marko Kovačević poklonio se žrtvama palih boraca iz bitke na Vučjem dolu i ujedno Nikšićanima i građanima Crne Gore čestitao Dan državnosti 13. jul. Kovačević je poručio da u lokalnoj upravi afirmišu datume koji spajaju građane, koji ih ne dijele, te da je 13. jul svakako jedan od takvih datuma. Napomenuo je i da je duh vučedolskih ratnika bio i u ustanicima iz 1941. godine.
“Mi smo simbolično željeli da taj dan obilježimo na ovom mjestu kod spomenika junacima sa Vučjeg dola. Jednostavno, u simboličkom smislu da nije bilo te bitke na Vučjem dolu ne bi bilo ni tog 13. jula 1878. godine kada je Knjaževina Crna Gora postala međunarodno priznata država. Duh tih ratnika sa Vučjeg dola bio je i u onim ljudima koji su ustali 13. jula 1941. godine protiv okupatora, a nakon 12. jula i Petrovdanske skupštine na kojoj je fašistička Italija željela da uspostavi satelitsku nezavisnu državu Crnu Goru. Dakle, naš narod je to odbio praktično jednoglasno i bio je opštenarodni ustanak”, poručio je Kovačević sa Vučjeg dola.
Predsjednik Opštine je odao počast i istorijsoj ličnosti iz Drugog Svjetskog rata, princu Mihailu Petroviću Njegošu.
“Kad već obilježavamo ovaj datum mislim da je red da pomenemo jednu ličnost koja je nepravedno zapostavljena u svim ovim godinama i decenijama. To je ličnost princa Mihaila Petrovića Njegoša, koji je tog 12. jula 1941. godine odbio da ponese krunu kraljevine Crne Gore koja bi se opet formirala pod patronatom fašističke Italije. To nije bio lak čin, ali je bio hrabar čin, bio je čin u duhu vučedolskih ratnika i jednako je važan kao i opštenarodni ustanak koji se zbio dan posle toga. Treba da pamtimo te ljude”, dodao je Kovačević.
Istakao je i da će lokalna samouprava afirmisati datume koji spajaju sve građane.
“Mi smo kao Opština odlučili da afirmišemo ove datume koji spajaju naše građane, koji ih ne dijele, a 13. jul je svakako jedan od takvih datuma, bitka na Vučjem dolu takođe. Zato smo u susret 13. julu ispred zgrade Opštine Nikšić postavili vučedolski barjak krstaš sa inicijalima kralja Nikole. Jednostavno oko onih stvari, oko kojih nema dvojbe, njih treba da afirmišemo. Sa kojeg god ideološkog i političkog pola da posmatramo stvari, 13. jul ipak ostaje kao datum koji je iznad svega toga i koji treba svi zajedno da slavimo i obilježavamo”, zaključio je Kovačević.
