Košarkaš Golden stejta Endrju Vigins ne želi da se vakciniše protiv koronavirusa, a spreman je da zbog toga izgubi čak 15 miliona dolara!

Ovaj Kanađanin ne vjeruje u efikasnost vakcine, a kako je za ulazak u dvoranu u gradu San Francisku, gdje Golden stejt igra svoje utakmice, zabranjen ulazak nevakcinisanim osobama, on neće moći da igra na domaćim utakmicama.

Pokušao je da dobije dozvolu od NBA lige kako iz vjerskih razloga ne može da primi vakcinu, ali je njegov zahtjev odbijen.

Njegovo mišljenje se neće promijeniti.

“Satjeran sam uz zid, ali nastavljam da se borim za ono u šta vjerujem i šta mislim da je ispravno. Nikog se drugog to ne tiče. Ja vas ne pitam o vašim uvjerenjima i smatrate li nešto dobrim ili lošim. Svi mo mi različiti i ko ste vi da vam moram objašnjavati takve stvari”, rekao je pred novinarima Vigins.

Kako neće moći da igra na domaćim utakmicama, po meču će izgubiti više od 350.000 dolara. Tako će njegova plata od 31.6 miliona dolara biti prepolovljena u narednoj sezoni.

“To je moj problem, a ne vaš”, kratko je prokomentarisao ovu situaciju košarkaš Golden stejta.

Nekadašnji prvi pik NBA drafta ulazi u osmu sezonu u najjačoj ligi svijeta, a prošle sezone je u dresu Voriorsa ubacivao 18.6 poena po meču.

NBA liga je još ranije najavila kako ima namjeru da vakciniše ne samo sve košarkaše, već sve one koji su uključeni u održavanje same lige.

I prije toga, a kako je prvi dan početka sezone sve bliže, glasniji postaju oni košarkaši koji su iz ličnih razloga protiv vakcinacije. Najglasniji je Kajri Irving, košarkaš Bruklina, Endrju Vigins iz Golden stejta ne prihvata ucjene.

Kada su osjetljive teme u pitanju, glas Lebrona Džejmsa je veoma važan, jer svi oni koji misle da je vakcinacija pozitivna stvar i da će pomoći pri neometanom održavanju lige, u njemu vide glavnog čovjeka koji može dodatno da podstakne proces vakcinacije.

„Ne dolazi u obzir. Moj posao nije da se zalažem za vakcine i da podstaknem vakcinaciju“, rekla je zvijezda LA Lejkersa koji je, inače, vakcinisan.
