Ruski naučnici prilagodili Sputnjik V delta soju
Ruski istraživači su objavili da su modifikovali vakcinu protiv koronavirusa Sputnik V, kako bi bila efikasnija protiv delta soja.
“Vakcinu smo modifikovali, već je u frižideru”, rekao je danas agenciji Interfaks direktor Instituta Gamaleja Aleksander Ginzburg. Dodao je da je još prerano da se govori o stepenu efikasnosti vakcine.
Ostali proizvođači vakcine u svijetu takođe već rade na izmjenama kako bi bile što efikasnije protiv delta soja. Ginzburg se istovremeno zalaže za upotrebu vakcine pod nazivom Sputnik light, za sve one koji su dva puta primili Fajzerovu vakcinu.
Efikasnost Sputnika kod delta soja je 83 odsto
Rusija je dosad razvila ukupno četiri vakcine protiv koronavirusa i radi na petoj, tvrde ruske vlasti. Sputnik V, koji je odobren u oko 70 zemalja, plasiran je i koristi se na međunarodnom tržištu.
Ruski ministar zdravlja Mihail Muraško kaže da stopa efikasnosti Sputnika V iznosi 83 posto kada je posredi zaraza delta varijantom koronavirusa. Rusija se, poput brojnih zemalja u svijetu trenutno bori s delta varijantom. U ovoj zemlji svakodnevno evidentira oko 800 smrtnih slučajeva od posljedica kovida 19.
Evropska unija još uvijek radi na odobrenju za Sputnik V i više puta su kritikovali Rusiju, jer ne daje dovoljno podataka koji bi doprinijeli odobrenju te vakcine.
