Uprkos najavi da neće biti hodočašća, stotine vjernika krenulo ka Ostrogu

Iz Podgorice je danas, na tradicionalno hodočašće ka Ostrogu, krenuo veliki broj građana kako bi se poklonili moštima Svetog Vasilija. 

Podgorička crkvena opština saopštila je nedavno da ove godine zbog pandemije koronavirusa i mjera neće organizovati tradicionalne Litije za Markovdan 8. maja i litiju za Svetog Vasilija Ostroškog, odnosno hodočašće za Ostrog 10. maja.

Ipak, građani su su se danas okupili i krenuli ka Svecu. 

“Praznik Svetog Marka zaštitinika grada Podgorice i Svetog Vasilija Ostroškog Čudotvorca proslavićemo služenjem Svetih Liturgija u hramovima Podgorice. Ostajemo u nadi da će Vaskrsli Gospod donijeti zdravlje cjelokupnom ljudskom rodu, kao i pokoj dušama svima koji su postradali u savezničkom bombardovanju Podgorice 5. maja 1944. godine”, saopšteno je iz crkvene opštine na godišnjicu bombardovanja. 

Na hodočašće pod Ostrog svake godine idu hiljade vjernika iz Crne Gore i regiona, a među njima su i oni muslimanske i katoličke vjeroispovijesti. 
Prošle godine, zbog mjera protiv epidemije korona virusa, broj vjernika je bio značajno manji nego inače, a ispod Ostroga ih je dočekao upokojeni mitropolit crnogorsko primorski Amfilohije.
