VARHELJI: Nema napretka dok ne bude rezultata u vladavini prava
Evropski komesar za proširenje Oliver Varhelji najavio je danas da će međuvladina komisija sa Crnom Gorom o primjeni nove metodologije u pregovorima sa EU biti održana početkom juna.
On je na sjednici Evropskog parlamenta kazao da Crna Gora nakon izbora u avgustu prošle godine, prolazi kroz tranzicioni period, ali drago mi je da pristup EU ostaje prioritet Vlade.
“Uz revidiranu metodologiju imamo priliku bolje politički upravljati ovim procesom i drago mi je da ćemo imati međuvladinu konferenciju sa Crnom Gorom već početkom sljedećeg mjeseca”, kazao je Varhelji tokom rasprave o Izvještaju o Crnoj Gori kojeg je pripremio izvjestilac u EP Tonino Picula.

Varhelji je kazao da je sljedeći korak postizanje rezultata u vladavini prava jer dok se tu ne postignu rezultati neće biti stvarnog napretka.
“Potreban je i napredak u oblasti slobode medija i borbe protiv korupcije i organizovanog kriminala i reformi pravosuđa. Vidjeli smo da je Vlada predana reformama u nizu ključnih područja. Skupština jača participaciju, ali je potrebno više stranačkog dijaloga kako bi se mogao postići stvarni napredak u reformma, posebno u imenovanjima u pravosuđu”, rekao je Varhelji.
On podsjeća da je Crna Gora dva puta tražila mišljenje Veneciajanske komisije povodom izmjena tužilačkih zakona i nada se da će riješiti sva preostala pitanja u legislativnom i smislu sprovođenja.
“Naš je prioritet sada da sarađujemo sa Vladom i tijelima u Crnoj Gori kako bi njihove obaveze bile pretočene u stvarni napredak na terenu, posebno na području vladavine prava, kako bi sprovodili dalje reforme na putu ka EU, a da ne ugroze ono što je postignuto do sada”, kazao je Varhelji.
