Nevjerovatna nesreća se desila tokom automobilske trke na Dejtoni, kada su u sudaru učestvovali skoro svi takmičari ovog događaja!
Sam početak trke je bio odlagan, nakon što je jaka kiša previše nakvasila stazu, ali su takmičari ipak odlučili da se događaj nastavi i izašli na stazu.
Malo kasnije, krenuo je lančani sudar u kom je najgore prošao Ostin Dilon, čije je auto završilo u zaštitnoj ogradi i tako povrijedilo troje gledalaca, dok je sam vozač ostao nepovređen.
Na ovoj trci pobijedio je Dejl Ernardit mlađi, čiji je otac poginuo upravo na ovoj stazi prije 14 godina.
