Predsjednik Skupštine Aleksa Bečić čestitao je 19. decembar, Dan Glavnog grada Podgorica, gradonačelniku Ivanu Vukoviću i predsjedniku Skupštine opštine Đorđiju Suhihu.
On je u čestitki naveo da nas 19. decembar obavezuje da iskažemo najdublje poštovanje prema herojima Narodnooslobodilačke borbe koji su dali svoje živote za slobodu, kao univerzalnu vrijednost savremene civilizacije.
“Povodom 19. decembra, Dana Glavnog grada Podgorica, koristim priliku da Vam u ime Skupštine Crne Gore i u svoje ime čestitam ovaj važan datum kojim proslavljamo naše antifašističko nasljeđe. Izražavam nadu da Glavni grad i pored svih izazova uslovljenih pandemijom korona virusa, dočekuje svoj praznik motivisan vizijom Podgorice kao evropskog grada, na ponos svojih i građana cijele Crne Gore”, istakao je Bečić.
Kako je naglasio, Podgorica je oduvijek bila otvorena za nove ljude, ideje i znanja, pa Bečić vjeruje da će lokalna uprava gajiti kosmopolitski duh grada i unapređivati njegov ekonomski, ekološki i kulturni razvoj.
“Još jednom koristim priliku da Vam čestitam 19. decembar, Dan Glavnog grada, sa uvjerenjem da Podgorica ostaje primjer multietničkog i multikulturalnog identiteta Crne Gore”, zaključio je Bečić.
