Bratić: Crna Gora posvećena temeljnim principima UNESKO-a
Ministarka prosvjete, nauke, kulture i sporta, prof. dr Vesna Bratić predvodi crnogorsku delegaciju na 41. Generalnoj konferenciji UNESKO u Parizu, kojom prilikom je prenijela posvećenost Crne Gore temeljnim principima organizacije. Uz čestitke na reizboru generalnoj direktorki Azule, ministarka Bratić je zahvalila na saradnji ostvarenoj u ovom multilateralnom okviru, ističući da standardi UNESKO predstavljaju ključne vrijednosti čovječanstva u borbi protiv globalnih izazova, među kojima je posebno aktuelna pandemija Kovid-19.
Poseban osvrt dala je na zaštitu životne sredine, što takođe predstavlja jednu od ključnih programskih aktivnosti UNESKO ističući da se Crna Gora, u tom smislu, vodi principima Pariskog sporazuma.
„Crna Gora sa posebnom pažnjom njeguje svoje prirodne vrijednosti, bivajući snažno posvećena zelenim politikama na što nas posebno obavezuju međunarodni standardi i naša izuzetno vrijedna prirodna bogatstva od kojih su, poput Nacionalnog parka Durmitor, već 41 godinu upisana na UNESKO listu, a neka su dio programa Čovjek i biosfera, poput basena rijeke Tare“, izjavila je ministarka Bratić.
„Mjesta svjetske baštine u Crnoj Gori (ukupno četiri, od čega dva pojedinačna i dva multinacionalna) su u stalnom fokusu interesovanja Nacionalne komisije za UNESKO, a prioritet su i izrade ekstenzija i izrada novih nominacija u skladu sa dogovorom svih zainteresovanih strana. Još jednom koristim priliku da u ime Crne Gore zahvalim UNESKO i Centru za svjetsku baštinu na podršci koju su tokom prethodnih godina pružali Crnoj Gori kako bismo značajno unaprijedili stanje očuvanosti Prirodnog i kulturno-istorijskog područja Kotora, što je konstatovano i odlukama Komiteta za svjetsku baštinu“, saopštila je ministarka Bratić.
Ministarka Bratić je iskazala uvjerenje da će Izvršni odbor i druga tijela UNESKO u narednom periodu nastaviti angažman na daljem unaprjeđenju standarda, promovišući vrijednosti na kojima počiva Organizacija. U tom smislu, pozdravila je aktivnosti usmjerene ka potiranju društvenih nejednakosti, promociji slobode izražavanja, etike u obrazovanju i u segmentu digitalizacije. Ministarka Bratić je prenijela i uvjerenje o odlučnosti Crne Gore da nastavi pružati podršku opsežnoj reformskoj agendi u okviru UNESKO.
Nakon učešća na Generalnoj konferenciji, ministarka Bratić prisustvovala je proslavi jubileja, 75 godina postojanja organizacije UNESKO.
