CRNOGORSKA PLEMENA: Znate li kojem pripadate?

Crnogorska plemena, odnosno plemensko društvo je autentična tvorevina sa svojim uređenjem, teritorijom i svojom patrijarhalnom kulturom. Plemena su ponikla na ruševinama feudalnog društva koja se razvijala pod snažnim uticajem kulturnog i istorijskog nasljeđa srednjevjekovne države.

Plemena su nastala udruživanjem porodica koje imaju zajedničko porijeklo ili pretke. Po narodnom shvatanju, pleme je zajednica nekog stanovništva koje je poteklo od jedne porodice ili od jednog lica. Na ovoj osnovi u narodu su nastala predanja o rodonačelnicima raznih plemena u Crnoj Gori i Hercegovini. Na zasnovanost ovakvih shvatanja ukazuju i patronimički nazivi plemena.

Jovan Cvijić, u svom kapitalnom djelu “Balkansko poluostrvo”, kaže: “Plemena u granicama Crne Gore dijele se u dvije grupe. Jedno su crnogorska plemena, tj. plemena stare, istorijske Crne Gore, između doline rijeke Zete i Skadarskog jezera s jedne i Boke Kotorske s druge strane. Naseljavaju četiri nahije: Katunsku, Lješansku, Riječku i Crmničku. Druga grupa zauzima uglavnom najvišu oblast zelene zone, između rijeke Zete i otprilike rijeke Lima. U njoj se razlikuju hercegovačka plemena i plemena “sedmoro Brda”. I jedna i druga nazvaćemo raškim plemenima, pošto je većina od njih u oblasti nekadašnje Raške”.

Plemena Stare Crne Gore
Kao što je već pomenuto, Staru Crnu Goru čine četiri nahije: Katunska, Lješanska, Riječka i Crmnička. Svaka od njih se dijeli na plemena:

Katunska nahija ima devet plemena: Cetinje, Njeguši, Ćeklići, Bjelice, Cuce (Velje i Male), Ozrinići (Čevljani), Pješivci (Gornji i Donji), Zagarač (Gornji i Donji) i Komani (Komani u užem smislu i Bandići);

Lješanska nahija u nedovršenom plemenskom grupisanju ima “plemena”: Draževina, Gradac i Buronje;

Riječka nahija ima pet plemena:  Kosijeri, Dobrsko selo, Ceklin (Gornji i Donji), Ljubotinj (Gornji i Donji), Građani,

Crmnička nahija se dijeli na: Podgor, Dupilo, Brčeli, Sotonići, Gluhi Do, Limljani i Boljevići

Plemena “sedmoro Brda”: Bjelopavlići (Vražegrmci, Martinići, Pavkovići i Petrušinovići),
Piperi (Crnci, Stijena i Đurkovići), Bratonožići, Kuči, Rovca, Morača (Gornja i Donja) i
Vasojevići (dokomski i prekokomski).

Stara Hercegovačka plemena se prostiru na teritoriji Crne Gore su: Drobnjaci (sa Jezerima), Uskoci, Piva, Šaranci, Nikšići, Banjani, Grahovo, Krivošije–

Plemena Primorja
Plemena na Primorju: Grbalj i Paštrovići sa Brajićima, Mainama i Poborima.
