Đukanović čestitao Dan opštine Pljevlja
Predsjednik Crne Gore Milo Đukanović uputio je čestitku povodom 20. novembra – Dana opštine Pljevlja, predsjedniku Igoru Goluboviću, predsjedniku Skupštine opštine Dragiši Sokiću, odbornicima, svim građanima Pljevalja i učesnicima svečane sjednice uz najbolje želje za dalji uspješan rad.
„Multikulturalnost, multietničnost i multikonfesionalnost, odlike su koje uz Pljevlja pristaju vjekovima. Bez obzira na sve izazove koji su pogađali ovaj kraj, njegovi žitelji su dostojanstveno očuvali te neprolazne vrijednosti čovječanstva, na ponos cijele Crne Gore. Na njihovim temeljima su i odnjegovani slobodarska tradicija i antifašizam, zahvaljujući kojima je izvojevana sloboda grada i države prije 75 godina. Od tada Pljevlja čine zamajac razvoja Crne Gore, njene industrije, energetike i rudarstva, na kojima se država gradila.
Uspjesi koje je Crna Gora ostvarila od obnove nezavisnosti, učlanjenjem u NATO, napretkom u procesu pregovora sa EU, kao i stabilnim i dinamičnim ekonomskim razvojem, doprinijeli su i daljem unapređenju kvaliteta života Pljevalja. Započeti i planirani infrastrukturni i privredni projekti, kao i adekvatan strateški pristup valorizaciji neizmjernih resursa kojima grad raspolaže, u tijesnoj saradnji lokalne uprave i Vlade, daju razloga za optimizam da će Pljevlja doživjeti novi period razvoja na dobrobit svojih građana i cijele Crne Gore.“
