Glas sove nagovještava bolest. Ako je sjela na tvoju kuću, neko će iz kuće biti bolestan.
Tamo gdje sove pjevaju, zakopano je blago. Ako želiš da ga iskopaš, za vrijeme kopanja ne smiješ da govoriš.
Kad vidiš rodu da mirno sjedi ili stoji na krovu tvoje kuće, u kuću će ti se useliti mir i sreća.
Kad čuješ rodu da klepeće, imat ćeš štete u kući.
Kad pomogneš kukcu, koji se izvrnuo na leđa, “sedam svojih grijehova si okajao”.
Onaj na koga padne gusjenica biće ljut na svoje bližnje.
Ako sretneš riđeg konja, još tog dana vidjećeš dragu osobu. Ako sretneš bijelog konja, daćeš novac.
Ako se u kuću unese paunovo perje, doći će do štete i razdora u kući.
Pauka vidjeti ujutro, znači nesreća i brige. Vidjeti ga oko podne, znači da će se sve lako riješiti, a vidjeti ga uveče je sreća.
Kad pauk na tebe padne iz vazduha, dobićeš radosne vijesti.
Pauk-krstaš, zamotan preko noći u papirnoj vrećici, ispisaće srećan broj koji treba isprobati u igrama na sreću.
Miševi koji žive u rudnicima i tunelima ne smiju se ubijati. Svojim bjekstvom nagovještavaju nesreću.
Kada petao kukuriče pred kućnim vratima, doći će gosti.
Kada lastavica napravi gnijezdo pod krovom kuće, u taj dom ući će mir.
