ISPRAĆEN POSLJEDNJI VOZ ZA BAR: Mašinovođa sirenom još jednom pozdravio putnike, a onda se začula pjesma A SAD ADIO! DA SE NAJEŽIŠ! (VIDEO)
Da će od 1. jula u potpunosti biti obustavljen železnički saobraćaj sa Glavne železničke stanice u Beogradu odavno je poznato, ali niko nije ni mogao da sluti koliko će emotivno biti ispraćen poslednji voz za Bar.
Putnici su se polako ukrcavali u vagone spremni za polazak u 21.10 časova, njihovi najbliži su im mahali za rastanak, a onda su se stanicom prolomili prvi taktovi čuvene pjesme “A sad adio”.
Svako ko je barem jednom putovao ovim vozom u Crnu Goru na more ili pratio svoju porodicu, nije mogao da ostane ravnodušan na ovaj snimak. Gotovo filmsku scenu upotpunio je i sam mašinovođa pozdravivši putnike, ali i svoju stanicu, glasnom sirenom.
Od danas će svi auto-vozovi za Bar kretati sa železničke stanice u Topčideru.
Glavna železnička stanica Beograd izgrađena između 1882. i 1885. po planovima arhitekte Dragutina Milutinovića, ima status spomenika kulture od velikog značaja. Povezana je neposredno sa izgradnjom prve srpske železničke pruge Beograd–Niš, dovršene 1884. godine. Zgrada je izgrađena po uzoru na željezničke stanice velikih evropskih zemalja i stoji kao monumentalno zdanje. Mjesto gdje je stanica izgrađena zvalo se Ciganska bara i kasnije Bara Venecija.
Prvi voz sa ove stanice krenuo je ka Zemunu uz dvorske počasti, 20. avgusta (1. septembra) 1884. godine u 15 časova. Prvi putnici bili su kralj Milan, kraljica Natalija i prestolonaslednik Aleksandar Obrenović, na putu ka Beču.
Svečanom otvaranju stanice prisustvovalo je više od 200 inostranih zvanica i više hiljada građana.
