Ljubo Čupić dobija spomenik u NK
Narodni heroj Čedomir Ljubo Čupić, i njegov čuveni osmijeh Slobodi, konačno će u Nikšiću dobiti spomenik, koji će biti završen do 13. jula.
Na skulpturi Čupiću, još od prošle godine, radi naš poznati vajar Zlatko Glamočak u ateljeu u Parizu.
U aprilu ove godine skulptura će biti finalizirana u bronzi, u nekoj od poznatih livaonica iz regiona.
Ktitor spomenika, odnosno finansijer čitavog poduhvata je izrazio želju, da za sada, ostane anoniman.
“Za spomenik Čupiću, kao donaciju svom gradu, opredijelio sam se u čast 13.jula, Dana državnosti Crne Gore i stogodišnjice Berlinskog kongresa na kome je crnogorska državnost i nezavisnost potvrđena i međunarodno priznata”, kazao je on.
Spomenik je idejno zamišljen kao “Heroj na Korzu”, na kome je, u Njegoševoj ulici, Čupić živio i odakle se priključio pokretu otpora protiv fašizma. Korzo ima posebnu simboliku za heroja. Tim je šetalištem, u lancima, proveden posljednji put, pred strijeljanje, i s osmijehom se oprostio sa svojim gradom.
Vajar Zlatko Glamočak se za ovaj inspirativan i veoma zahtjevan poduhvat opredijelio i iz ličnog razloga. On je u Nikšiću proveo dio svog djetinjstva.
Novinar i publicista Mihailo Radojičić, gostujući u Jutarnjem prigramu TVCG, kazao je da u svijetu nema primjera kao što je Ljubo Čupić.
“Spomenik osmjehu koji je u svjetskim razmjerama ostavio trag o crnogorskoj antifašističkoj borbi i ustanku, koji je gotovo uzdrmao svijet”, istakao je Radojičić.
Kako je istakao, poslije Petra Drugog Petrovića Njegoša u crnogorskoj istoriji ne postoji nijedan lik koji je reprezentativan kao Ljubo Čupić.
“Svi nose majice sa likom Čegevare, a Ljubo Čupić je četvrt vijeka pretekao Čegevaru, i pokazao svijetu modernog revolucionara. On nije samo narodni heroj, već čovjek iz naroda”, kazao je, između istalog, Radojičić.
