Podgorica dobila Ulicu Henrika Angela
Glavni administrator Vuksan Vuksanović izrazio je zadovoljstvo povodom imenovanja Ulice Henrika Angela, norveškog putopisca, momenta važnog za kako za Ambasadu Norveške i Kraljevinu Norvešku, tako i za Glavni grad. Henrik Angel bio je slavni norveški putopisac, oficir, istoričar, književnik, koji je napisao četiri knjige o Crnoj Gori.
“Poznat je po tome što je prvi donio skije u Crnu Goru, bio je neko ko je visoko cijenio borbu Crne Gore protiv Otomanske imperije i crnogorsku borbu za slobodu, a zahvaljujući norveškoj Ambasadi i njihovim programima međunarodne pomoći, koji su sprovođeni od 2000. godine, formiranje Nansen dijalog centra i nekih drugih razvojnih programa, mi smo bili u prilici da upoznamo djelo Henrika Angela, da shvatimo značaj toga što je on radio za Crnu Goru”, naglasio je glavni gradski administrator.
Vuksanović je zahvalio norveškoj Ambasadi na podršci koju su pružali u prethodnom periodu i izrazio nadu da će se ta praksa nastaviti, naročito kada su u pitanju razvojni projekti Glavnog grada i iskazao zadovoljstvo povodom buduće saradnje između Crne Gore i Norveške.
“O Crnoj Gori su često pričali sa velikim poštovanjem i sa velikim uvažavanjem, ljudi izvanjci, koji su dolazili sa strane, ljudi poput Henrika Angela, Pavla Rovinskog, Jaroslav Čermak, kao što je Valtazar Bogišić, tvorac Opšteg imovinskog zakonika. To su ljudi koji su sa strane dolazili u Crnu Goru, a koji su za Crnu Goru učinili puno, radili na njenoj promociji, na promociji njene kulture, napravili neka vrijedna djela, vrijedna u kulturološkom smislu, u smislu književnosti, prava, istorije, umjetnosti i drugih.”, zaključio je Vuksanović.
Nerezidentni ambasador Kraljevine Norveške Jern Eugen Jelstad kazao je da je počastvovan što je ulica u Podgorici imenovana po Henriku Angelu, te da je on bio oficir, atleta, pisac, pionir u skijanju, kao i prvi delegat u internacionalnom komitetu.
“Skijanje za njega nije bilo samo rekreativan sport, za njega ova aktivnost je predstavljala mogućnost za stvaranje boljih vojnika. On je bio član vojske i upravo zbog toga je on ohrabrivao mlade da se bave ovim sportom. Na zahtjev Nikole I od Crne Gore, Henrik je osnovao prvu skijašku školu u ovoj zemlji. Osim toga, bio je nacionalista svog vremena, samim tim podržavao je borbu Crne Gore za nezavisnost i teritorijalni integritet, napisao je nekoliko knjiga o borbi Crnogaraca protiv Otomanskog carstva”, kazao je ambasador Jelstad i još jednom se zahvalio na prepoznavanju doprinosa Henrika Angela.
