Podgorica se priključuje saradnji gradova Višegradske grupe
Vuković je, kako je saopšteno, predložio da se Podgorica priključi najavljenoj inicijativi gradonačelnika Karačonja o saradnji sa gradovima zemalja Višegradske grupe, imajući u vidu namjeru zajedničkog apliciranja za fondove EU.
On je ukazao na potrebu za više sličnih inicijativa od strane Evropske unije, koje bi povezale gradove, budući da se svi suočavaju sa sličnim izazovima.
Karačonj je podržao ideju da Podgorica bude dio saradnje gradova Višegradske grupe, saveza koji se temelji na zajedničkim vrijednostima.
”Naglašavajući da bi takvo povezivanje moglo rezultirati specifičnim i konkretnim projektima, on je iskazao spremnost da Budimpešta i Podgorica u narednom periodu rade na identifikaciji prioriteta i operacionalizaciji projekata od posebnog značaja za dva grada. Govoreći o novim trendovima, on je primjetio da veliki gradovi oblikuju nove progresivne politike, što je i prilika za rješavanje globalnih problema na lokalnom nivou, prvenstveno kada je riječ o izazovu klimatskih promjena”- navedeno je u saopštenju.
Karačonj je snažno podržao težnju Crne Gore ka punopravnom članstvu u EU, ocjenjujući da je proces proširenja EU od izuzetne važnosti i ključan za mir i prosperit cijelog regiona.
Sagledavajući ekonomsku saradnju dvije zemlje, Vuković je ocijeno da je Mađarska važan partner Crne Gore i istakao poseban značaj direktne avio-linije između dva glavna grada.
”On je upoznao gradonačelnika Budimpešte sa konkretnim projektima i reformama koje se sprovode u Podgorici, stavljajući akcenat na reorganizaciju sistema javnog prevoza, povećanje broja zelenih površina, zapošljavanje i promovisanje biciklističke kulture”- navedeno je u saopštenju.
Na sastanku je dogovoreno da Karačonj posjeti Podgoricu tokom naredne godine.
