Preminuo Kićo Slabinac
Krunoslav Kićo Slabinac preminuo je jutros u 6 sati i 50 minuta u bolničkoj sobi zagrebačkog KBC-a, gdje je ležao posljednja tri mjeseca.
Slavonski muzičar je početkom augusta završio u bolnici zbog koronarne bolesti koja mu je zahvatila krvne sudove, javljaju hrvatski mediji.
No uprkos uspješnom zahvatu oporavak se zakomplikovao jer rana na grudnom košu nije zarastala kako treba.
Kićo Slabinac rođen je 28. marta 1944. godine. Muzikom i glumom počeo je da se bavi još u osnovnoj školi. Svirao je tamburicu i glumio u dječjem pozorištu.
Muzičku karijeru započeo je s rok sastavom Tornado, nakon toga je prešao u Kon Tiki da bi se duže vrijeme zadržao u bendu Dinamite. Nakon odluke da se posveti solo karijeri u Dinamite ga zamjenjuje Dado Topić.
Nakon povratka iz JNA, Slabinac se okreće solo karijeri te se seli u Zagreb gdje je izvodio pjesme Toma Džonsa i Elvisa Prislija. Upoznaje se sa kompozitorom i producentom Nikicom Kalogjerom, koji mu 1969. godine omogućuje nastup na splitskom festivalu. Slabinac je na festivalu otpjevao pjesmu “Samo zbog ljubavi”.
Prva ploča koju je izdao zvala se “Plavuša”. 1971. godine na takmičenju za pjesmu Evrovizije sa pjesmom “Tvoj dječak je tužan” osvaja 14. mjesto.
Iza Slabinca su ostala dvojica sinova – Pavao (41) i Ivan (39), prijatelji i veliki broj poznanika i obožavatelja.
