PUTIN SPREMA ŠOK SRBIJI? “Rusija će možda PRIZNATI KOSOVO da bi se nagodila sa Amerikom”
Moskva bi mogla da prizna Kosovo u sklopu uspostavljanja novih odnosa Amerike i Rusije, kaže vodeći ekspert za Rusiju u Velikoj Britaniji Meri Dejevski.
Meri Dejevski redovno se sastaje sa liderima Kremlja kroz grupu “Valdai”, koja se susreće sa ruskim zvaničnicima svake jeseni, a sugerisala je da bi Moskva mogla da prizna Kosovo kao dio paketa dogovora, čiji bi cilj bio zatvaranje različitih posthladnoratovskih diplomatskih problema koji su ugrozili odnose između sila.
U članku ona opisuje Trampa kao čoveka koji postiže dogovore i koji bi brzo shvatio da li je ruski lider bio ozbiljan kada je govorio o dogovoru, ali bi se udaljio i nastojao da sklapa druge sporazume ako bi osetio da je bio u zabludi.
Međutim, Dejevski kaže da je Putin uložio mnogo truda da sklapanje dogovora sa novom američkom administracijom uspije, i da će teško dozvoliti da mu ovakva prilika isklizne, jer bi to ugrozilo njegovu poziciju kod kuće.
Rusija je čvrsto protiv priznanja Kosova, južne pokrajine svog bliskog saveznika Srbije otcepljene 1999. godine uz pomoć zapadne vojne pomoći, a koja je proglasila nezavisnost 2008. godine, opisuje isti medij. Većina zapadnih zemalja, počevši od Amerike, odavno su priznali nezavisnost Kosova, ali Srbija, Rusija, Kina, kao i pet članica EU i mnoge druge države, nisu, među kojima je najviše onih iz Centralne i Južne Amerike, Azije i oko polovine afričkih država.
Tempo priznavanja znatno je usporen poslednjih godina, a prošle godine su to učinile samo dvije države – Surinam i Singapur. Ukupno oko 110 od 193 država članica Ujedinjenih nacija do sada je priznalo nezavisnost Kosova.
Dok bi rusko priznje bilo slavljeno kao veliki uspijeh na Kosovu, to bi bio veliki šok za ruskog istorijskog saveznika, Srbiju, primjećeno je u članku. Beograd se zarekao da nikada neće prihvatiti kosovsku državnost i nastavlja da tvrdi da je Kosovo sastavni dio teritorije Srbije, ali je ipak pristao da normalizuje odnose sa Prištinom pod okriljem EU.
