Stefanović: Hapšenja još nekoliko “krupnih zvjerki”
Ministar policije Srbije Nebojša Stefanović rekao je da policija u ovom trenutku završava nekoliko velikih istraga i da očekuje da još nekoliko “krupnih zvjerki” bude suočeno sa zakonom.
Stefanović je “Informeru” rekao da policija naporno radi na brojnim slučajevima spornih privatizacija i organizovanog kriminala i da očekuje skori kraj još nekih značajnih istraga, naglasivši da će “svi koji su krali, varali i pljačkali državu, odgovarati”.
Ministar, međutim, nije želio da navede imena onih protiv kojih se istraga vodi, rekavši da će se o tim slučajevima govoriti kada dokaza budu predati tužilaštvu.
Kada je riječ o istrazi pokušaja atentata na Milana Beka, Stefanović je rekao da je možda pogriješio jer je u javnost izlazio s prvim operativnim informacijama, ali da je kasnije djelovalo da istraga ide u pogrešnom pravcu, zbog čega je za načelnika kriminalističke policije postavio Dragana Kecmana, kao profesionalca.
Stefanović kaže i da o slučaju “Beko” više neće da govori, sve dok osumnjičeni ne bude uhapšen.
Upitan zašto je na početku mandata smijenio pet generala dok je Milorad Veljović ostao, Stefanović je odgovorio da su smjenjeni ljudi “za koje su postojale sumnje da su sarađivali s kriminalcima ili koji nisu imali zadovoljavajuće rezultate u radu”.
“Konkretno za Veljovića, niko me nije obavjestio da je uradio nešto nezakonito niti da se protiv njega vodi neka istraga… Kažem vam, nemam nijedan jedini dokaz da je on uradio bilo šta nezakonito. Ako me pitate da li je Veljović zaštićen, reći ću vam da nije. Niko nije zaštićen, pa ni ja”, naglasio je Stefanović.
Ministar je najavio i da će do proleća, čim se donese zakon, biti provjereno poreklo imovine policajaca i to svih, od direktora pa naniže.
“Proverićemo šta su imali na početku karijere, a šta imaju sada. Znate, nemoguće je da neko od jedne plate zaradi pet stanova i luksuzne automobile”, istakao je Stefanović, napominjući, ipak, da u MUP-u mahom rade pošteni i savesni ljudi.
