TURNIR U PODGORICI: Danilo Fatić “kralj” crnogorskog basketa
Drugi put u Podgorici, juče je održan “Red Bull King of the Rock”, najveći basket turnir na svijetu u igri “1na1”, koji je krenuo u SAD-u 2010. Na igralištu Budućnost Volija u Njegoševom parku, titulu “kralja crnogorskog basketa” ponio je 39-godišnji Danilo Fatić, koji je tako izborio i učešće na finalnom turniru u Istanbulu.
“Crnogorski basket je opravdao povjerenje turnira Red Bull King of the Rock! U Njegoševom parku igrala se sjajna košarka puna četiri sata, a imao je ko i da je gleda jer su tribine najpopularnijeg podgoričkog košarkaškog terena bile maksimalno popunjene. Publika je uživala u velikom broju sjajnih poteza, par velikih preokreta i nekoliko neočekivanih rezultata, tako da uzbuđenja nije nedostajalo”, saopštili su organizatori.
Novi “kralj crnogorskog basketa” igrao je prije svega pametnu košarku, znao je na koji način treba igrati protiv svakog protivnika, te uz to pokazao vrhunsku igru pod košem i sjajan šut za tri poena.
“Bio sam na putu ka selu, kada me je komšija Dejan, veliki ljubitelj košarke, znajući da stalno igram basket prijavio za turnir, a ja naravno nisam mogao reći ne ovakvom spektaklu. Baš je fizički bilo naporno i može se reći da je i ovo jedna vrsta ekstremnih sportova. Srce mi je puno”, izjavio je Danilo nakon turnira.
Na turniru u Njegoševom parku učestvovala 64 takmičaraKazao je da je moralo biti i dosta taktike.
“Naravno, ako vidiš da igaš protiv sporijeg čovjeka ideš češće na prodore, poslije se malo više oslanjaš na trojke, ne bi li malo odmorio, a moram priznati da tu uvijek postoji i faktor sreće koji sam ja imao u polu finalu kada sam sa poslednjim šutom prošao u finale. Ali ponavljam, kondicija je osnov”, rekao je Danilo.
Alen Šofranac, osvajač Red Bull King of the Rock iz 2012, ove godine stigao je do polufinala, gdje je od njega bolji bio poraženi finalista Boško Bošković.
Sa turnira u Njegoševom parkuSvjetsko finale turnira Red Bull King of the Rock održava se 17. septembra u Istanbulu, što će biti druga godina za redom da je glavni grad Turske domaćin basketaškog spektakla.
Finale prvog izdanja ovog takmičenja organizovano je 2010. godine u legendarnom američkom zatvoru Alkatraz, po čijem je nadimku (Rock) turnir i dobio ime. Amerika je bila domaćin najboljim svjetskim basketašima i naredne dvije godine, dok je godinu dana nakon toga čast da ugosti najveći turnir na svijetu u igri “1na1” pripala Tajvanu.
Učesnici turnira“Danilo Fatić će u Istanbulu imati veoma težak zadatak, s obzirom na to da će mu protivnici biti najbolji basketaši Srbije, Rusije, Turske i još nekolicine košarkaških velesila, međutim ukoliko igra crnogorskog predstavnika 17. septembra bude na nivou one iz Njegoševog parka sigurno je da ni njegovi rivali u Turskoj neće imati ništa lakši posao”, poručuju iz Red Bull King of the Rock” tima.
