U GRČKOJ SVEŠTENICI NA ČELU PROTESTA: Ko primi vakcinu gorko će zažaliti (VIDEO)
Jedan od glavnih izvora protivljenja lokdaunu, nošenju maski i vakcinaciji u Grčkoj su uticajni sveštenici i moć koju imaju sa propovjedaonice.
“Crkvene vlasti odbijaju da provjeravaju posjetioce crkve, poštujući ličnost vjernika”, stoji na natpisu na ulazu u crkvu Svetog Nikole u Atini.
Unutar krcate crkve možete na prste jedne ruke da prebrojite osobe koje nose maske, piše “Politiko”. Sveštenik Vasilejos Volodakis iskoristio je svoju besjedu da se obruši na vladu i ljekare.

“Zalažemo se za zaštitu ljudskih prava, istih prava koja je ratifikovalo hrišćanstvo. Bog nas ne tjera da ga slijedimo, za razliku od onih koji podržavaju vakcinaciju”, rekla je Marija, sredovječna žena koja je prisustvovala službi sa svojim suprugom.
Malo nakon što se pričestila dodala je da “u potpunosti vjerujem svom svešteniku“, kao i da ne želi da primi “eksperimentalnu vakcinu”.

Crkveno rukovodstvo zvanično podržava vakcinaciju. Poglavar Grčke pravoslavne crkve Jeronimos proveo je nekoliko dana na intenzivnoj njezi nakon što je obolio od kovida prošlog novembra.

Međutim, nekoliko uticajnih sveštenika neprestano savjetuju vjernicima da se ne vakcinišu, dok neki odbijaju da puste ljude u crkvu ako nose maske ili su primili vakcinu.
Serafim od Кitire, jedan od najmoćnijih sveštenika u zemlji, čak tvrdi da su “vakcine proizvod abortusa“.
“Ovaj proizvod koji potiče od ubijenih embriona ubrizgavaće se u naša tijela. Oni žele da stvore metačovjeka, mutiranog čovjeka, čovjeka koji će biti poput robota”, rekao je.
Grčka se suočava sa naglim porastom slučajeva nakon širenja visoko zaraznog delta soja. Кrajem juna prosječni dnevni broj slučajeva iznosio je oko 400, ali je sada skočio na oko 2.700.
Otprilike 44 odsto stanovništva je potpuno vakcinisano, malo iznad prosjeka EU. Ali kolebljivost prema vakcinama usporila je nagon inokulaciju u zemlji, a neki stručnjaci upozoravaju da će se na kraju potpuno vakcinisati samo 55 do 58 procenata stanovništva, što je daleko ispod cilja od 75 odsto.
U pokušaju da poveća taj broj, grčka vlada je najavila obavezno vakcinisanje zdravstvenih radnika. Ministarstvo unutrašnjih poslova započelo je kampanju za povećanje stope vakcinacije u manjim zajednicama, što će uključivati slanje lokalnih zvaničnika i pripadnika sveštenstva koji podržavaju savjete zdravstvenih autoriteta.
