Upala srčanog mišića povezana sa vakcinama Fajzer i Moderna
Ipak, iz Evropske agencije za ljekove navode da je korist od vakcina i dalje daleko veća od rizika povezanih sa njima.
Upala srčanog mišića (miokarditis) je “izuzetno rijetka” nuspojava vakcina protiv korona virusa proizvođača Fajzer i Moderna, navode evropski regulatori.
Evropska agencija za ljekove (EMA) ističe da su neželjeni efekti češći kod mlađih muškaraca.
Iz ove agencije za provjeru bezbjednosti ljekova kažu da je korist od vakcina i dalje daleko veća od bilo kakvih rizika povezanih sa njima.
Ipak, ljekarima i pacijentima se savjetuje da budu svjesni simptoma upale srčanog mišića.
Neki od njih su bol u grudima, osjećaj da ne možete da dođete do vazduha i lupanje ili “preskakanje” srca. Svako sa ovim simptomima bi trebalo da posjeti ljekara.
Dva oboljenja povezana su sa vakcinama – upala srčanog mišića, poznata kao miokarditis, i upala srčane maramice u kojoj se nakuplja tečnost, poznata kao perikarditis.
Rezultati analize Evropske agencije za ljekove pokazuju:
145 slučajeva miokarditisa i 138 slučajeva perikarditisa od ukupno 177 miliona datih doza vakcine prozvođača Fajzer-Biontek;
19 slučajeva miokarditisa i 19 slučajeva perikarditisa od ukupno 20 miliona datih doza Modernine vakcine.
Pet osoba je umrlo, a navodi se da su sve bile ili starije ili su imale druge zdravstvene probleme.
Britanska Regulatorna agencija za ljekove i zdravstvene proizvode (MHRA), takođe je istražila povezanost vakcina sa ova dva oboljenja.
Navode da postoji dosledan obrazac ovih slučajeva koji se češće javljaju kod mladih muškaraca i nedugo posle primanja druge doze vakcina.
“Ovi slučajevi su izuzetno rijetki, simptomi su uglavnom blagi, a pojedinci se obično oporavljaju u kratkom vremenskom roku uz standardni tretman i odmaranje”, dodaju.
Smatra se da se većina slučajeva dogodila u roku od 14 dana od vakcinacije.
Miokarditis i perikarditis će u Velikoj Britaniji i Evropskoj uniji biti zvanično uvršteni u nuspojave, što je već urađeno u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama prošlog mjeseca.
“Šansa da se ova oboljenja pojave je vrlo mala, ali trebalo bi da budete svjesni simptoma kako biste brzo mogli da dobijete ljekarsku njegu koja će vam pomoći da se oporavite i izbjegnete komplikacije”, navode iz Evropske agencije za ljekove.
Povezanost upale srčanog mišića i vakcinacije ustanovljena je samo kod vakcina kod kojih se koristi tehnologija sa informacijskom RNK (mNRA) za obuku imunog sistema.
Takva povezanost nije pronađena kod vakcina koje proizvode Oksford-Astrazeneka i Jansen, koje koriste genetski modifikovani virus.
Međutim, iz Evropske agencije za ljekove savjetuju da svi koji imaju istoriju sindroma kapilarnog curenja ne bi trebalo da prime Jansenovu vakcinu.
Ovo je rijedak, ali ozbiljan sindrom kod kojeg tečnost iz krvnih sudova curi u tkivo.
