Google razvija lijek protiv raka?
Poznato je kako Google već godinama u okviru Google X laboratorija pokušava pronaći način kako pobijediti bolesti i ljudima produžiti život.
Kao jedan od načina za izlječenje bolesti do sada su spominjane nanočestice koji bi se kretale krvotokom ljudi i detektovale promjene na ćelijama ili organima te bi o tim promjenama (koje bi ukazivale na bolesti) slale informacije na pametne telefone i satove kako bi ljudi o njima obavijestili doktore i što prije počeli s tretmanima. Ali, čini se da Googleovci imaju i druge planove o načinima na koje bi u budućnosti mogli liječiti teške bolesti poput raka.
Naime, ova je kompanija prijavila patent za nosivi uređaj (poput velike narukvice) koji bi mogao ‘automatski mijenjati ili uništavati jednu ili više meta u krvi koje utiču na zdravlje ljudi’, a te bi mete uključivale enzime, hormone, proteine, ćelije ili druge molekule.
Prema pisanju Telegraph-a Googleov nosivi uređaj mogao bi mijenjati ili uništavati ćelije ‘prenosom energije u krvne žile’, odnosno prenosom radio-frekvencijskih signala, magnetnog polja, akustičnog signala, infracrvenog ili svjetlosnog signala. Ta bi energija trebala promijeniti fizička ili hemijska svojstva ćelija i tako smanjiti ili u potpunosti eliminisati njihov uticaj na zdravlje.
Kao primjer Googlevci navode određene proteine koji su djelomični uzrok Parkinsonove bolesti te bi njihov nosivi uređaj mogao uništiti te proteine i time usporiti razvoj bolesti. Takođe, na isti način bi se mogle tretirati i ćelije raka koje bi Googleov nosivi uređaj prenosom energije mogao uništavati ili mijenjati i tako usporiti širenje raka.
Inače, nedavno je predsjednik Googleovog investicionog fonda Bill Maris rekao kako očekuje da će ljudi u budućnosti živjeti 500 godina, a da ćemo u budućnosti načine na koji se danas liječi rak smatrati primitivnima.
