DANAS JE PRAZNIK VELIKOG ČUDOTVORCA ALEKSANDRA NEVSKOG: Vjeruje se da za dobro zdravlje tokom godine valja uraditi ovu stvar
Pravoslavna crkva i vjernici danas obilježavaju praznik Prenos moštiju svetog Aleksandra Nevskog.
Aleksandar Nevski je bio veliki ruski knez, sin kneza Jaroslava i svetac Ruske pravoslavne crkve koji je 2008. godine proglašen za najveću ličnost ruske istorije. Iako je riječ o ruskom svecu, Aleksandar Nevski je postao simbol borbe za očuvanje pravoslavlja, pa ga kao sveca poštuju u svim pravoslavnim narodima slovenskog porijekla. To je slučaj i sa našim prostorima, iako ga kao krsnu slavu u našoj zemlji proslavlja tek nekoliko desetina porodica.
Aleksandar Nevski bio je pravdoljubiv, žalostivan, istinski pobožan, prezirao je sujetu svijeta. Od rane mladosti bio je vjernik a noći je, govori predanje, najradije provodio u molitvi.
1236. godine postao je novogorodski knez, a pobijedio je Švede na rijeci Nevi i zato je prozvan Nevski. Silnim ga je činila vjera u Božju pomoć i vojnicima je prije bitku govorio: “Bog je ne u sili nego u pravdi“. Jednom prilikom javili su se svetitelji Boris i Gljeb jednom njegovom vojvodi i obećali svoju pomoć velikom knezu. Bio je silan vladar, a veliki dio svojih snaga trošio je na jačanje pravoslavlja, ne samo u Rusiji već u svim pravoslavnim zemljama.
Dvadeset sedam godina knezovao je a onda, osjećajući da mu se približava odlazak iz ovoga svijeta, on je primio monaštvo i monaško ime Aleksije, pričestio se svetim Tajnama, i upokojio se blaženo 14. novembra 1263. godine, u svojoj 43. godini.
Sahranjen je u manastiru Roždestva Presvete Bogorodice, u Vladimiru. Pri sahrani, kada je mitropolit htio da mu stavi u ruku oproštajnu gramatu, on je sam, kao živ, otvorio ruku i uzeo gramatu. Kralj Aleksandar Karađorđević smatrao je Svetog Aleksandra svojim zaštitnikom, pa mu je u Beogradu, na Dorćolu podignuta crkva tridesetih godina prošlog vijeka.
O čudima Aleksandra Nevskog postoje mnoge legende. Jedna od njih kaže da su se u crkvi gdje je počivalo tijelo sveca, jedne noći svijeće su se navodno upalile same od sebe, a dva starca izašla su iz oltara i prišla njegovom grobu, govoreći: “Aleksandre, ustani i spasi praunuka Dimitrija, koga napadaju tuđinci”.
Prema priči, Aleksandar je ustao iz groba i krenuo s njima, a sve to je navodno vidio čovjek koji brine o crkvi i o tome izvijestio crkvene vlasti. Sveštenici su mošti Aleksandra Nevskog postavili u kivot i tom prilikom su bolesnici, prilazeći im s vjerom, dobili iscjeljenje.
Zato se vjeruje da svako ko ima nekog bolesnog ili “slabog” u porodici, mora ujutru otići u crkvu, upaliti svijeću i pomoliti se ovom čudotvorcu, a da će on svakome ko mu se iskrenom molitvom obrati, pomoći.
