Đukanović, koje je poslije podne stigao na Cetinje, poručio je odgovarajući na pitanja novinara, da je mišljenja da ustoličenje treba da bude obavljeno na drugom mjestu.

Ustoličenje, kako je rekao, ne mogu obaviti nasilno u Cetinjskom manastiru, uz ugrožavanje prava i sloboda građana Prijestonice“To nije dobar pristup. Čak i kad bi to pošlo nekom za rukom, on bi se ovdje uvijek osjećao ka neko ko je nasilno ostvario neku svoju želju, ko je silovao, na neki način Prijestonicu i građane. Zato milsim da je to pogrešan pristup, i da će MCP donijeti razumnu i logičnu odluku”, naveo je Đukanović.
