“Onaj ko misli da zaraze nema neka ode da posjeti kovid odjeljenja, bolesnike i ljekare koji tamo rade. Sreli smo se sa jednim užasom ali se nismo uplašili jer vjera je naša u vaskrsenje. Sve što nas snalazi prihvatamo smireno i s vjerom i idemo u susret da riješavamo probleme”, kazao je episkop budimljansko nikšićki vladika Joanikije nakon liturgije u Ostrogu povodom Dana Svetog Vasilija Ostroškog.
“I mi zaista vjerujemo da će Sveti Vasilije Čudotvorac pomoći i odagnati ovu epidemiju daleko od nas, da je više nema. Samo mi da se popravimo. Ove nevolje koje su nas snalazile pomogle su nam na neki način da se vratimo jednostavnosti jer je u jednostavnosti snaga i ljepota. Pa smo sve naše svečanosti proslavljali i obilježavali skromnije, nismo ništa izostavili ali pozivajući uvijek narod da poštuje mjere jer je ovo opaka bolest, i ne treba niko da bude nerazuman. I onaj ko misli da zaraze nema neka ode da posjeti kovid odljenja, bolesnike i ljekare koji tamo rade. Sreli smo se sa jednim užasom ali se nismo uplašili jer vjera je naša u vaskrsenje. Sve što nas snalazi prihvatamo smireno i s vjerom i idemo u susret da riješavamo probleme”, kazao je Joanikije obraćajući se velikom broju vjernika koji su došli pod Ostrog uprkos najavi sveštenstva da ove godine, zbog epidemije, neće biti hodočašća.
Daće Bog, kazao je Joanikije, da ovu zarazu uza zalaganje svih i molitvu svih nas otjeramo od naših domova i naših porodica.
“I evo u ove skoro dvije godine otkad je počela ova zaraza i pored svih mjera narod pristupa ćivotu Sv. Vasilija i niko nije lud ni od vlasti ni sveštenstva, da brani bilo kome u ova vremena kada su ozbiljne mjere protiv ove zaraze da pristupa ćivotu ostroškog vladara i čudotvorca jer dobro znamo za njegovu čudesnu iscjeljiteljsku moć jer su mnogi od kojih su ljekari digli ruke našli lijeka kod Ćivota Sv Vasilija i to posvjedočili. Naravno mi ne pravimo nikakvu propagandu, ne dao Bog, nego Bog projavljuje svoga svetitelja a mi blagodarimo na Božjem daru”, kazao je Joanikije.

Uprkos najavi da neće biti hodočašća, stotine vjernika krenulo ka Ostrogu
“Sveti Vasilije je novi Sveti Sava i nije čudo da je odmah poslije spaljivanja moštiju Sv. Save na Vračaru Gospod poslao na ovaj svijet Svetoga Vasilija, kao novoga Sv Savu koji će predvotii narod, učiti ga, tješiti i iscjeljivati. Sveti Sava poslije spaljivanja moštiju je ostao u svom narodnu.
Sveti Vasilije je preuzeo ulogu da okupljanarod oko svog kivota kao što je Sveti Sava ranije okupljao srpski rod oko svog kivota u Manastiru Mileševi.
Sveti Vasilije još za vrijeme svoga zemaljskoga života smjestio je gospoda Isusa Hrista u svoje srce, i svoju dušu i svoj um, i u njegovo ime čudotvorio. On izliva Božju blagodat na svoj narod koji mu pristupa i koji mu se moli”, kazao je vladika Joanikije. Ovo je veliki jubilej, 350 godina od upokojenja, odnosno 350 godina čudotvorenja i nebeskog pastirskovanja Svetog Vasilija.
Mi smo ovaj jubilej obilježili skormno, ali jesmo ono što je glavno, vršili svete službe ovdje pod Ostrogom i u drugim hramovima.
U naučnom skupu o Svetom Vasilijuje uzelo učešća preko 50 naših naučnika
Braćo i sestre neka vas Bog blagoslovi i obdariu zdravlje, i neka svi koji pristupaju ćivotu dobiju iscjeljenje i od svojih duševnih i tjelesnih nedruga”, završio je Joanikije besjedu.
