Ex Yu rok hitovi za koje niste znali da kriju tajne
Iako se u prvi mah čini da se u pojedinim hitovima ex-yu roka pjeva o ljubavi i raznim životnim nedaćama, alternativna tumačenja govore suprotno. Tajanstvene poruke, priče, mračne tajne, pa i dirljive životne ispovijesti poznatih imena unijete su u neke od najvećih jugoslovenskih hitova.
Bijelo dugme – Sanjao sam noćas da te nemam
Iako je pjesmu “Sanjao sam noćas da te nemam” publika godinama doživljavala kao ljubavnu, frontmen Bijelog dugmeta Goran Bregović svojevremeno je objasnio da se tekst odnosi na gubitak majke. Osim toga, i pjesma “Da sam pekar” ima alternativno značenje, te za mnoge odnosi se na konzumiranje droge odnosno “bijelog” praha.
Babe – Ko me ter’o da te volim
Bend Babe, čiji je frontmen bio Žika Milenković, gitarista Bajage i Instruktora, objavio je 90-ih hit “Ko me ter’o da te volim”. Po nekim tumačenjima, Milenković je pjesmu posvetio prijatelju koji je umro od side nakon seksa sa prostitutkom iz Pančeva u koju je bio zaljubljen.
Van Gogh – Neko te ima noćas
Ova pjesma važi za jednu od najkomercijalnijih ljubavnih pjesama, a po mnogim tumačenjima, ne govori o ljubavi već je posvećena hašišu.
Dino Dvornik – Ti si mi u mislima
Sličnu poruku nosi i pjesma “Ti si mi u mislima” Dina Dvornika. Naime, po nekim tumačenjima, Dino ne pjeva o voljeni ženi već heroinu, od kog je u jednom periodu života bio zavisan.
Azra – Balkan
Stihovi “Balkane, Balkane, Balkane moj. Budi mi silan i dobro mi stoj”, po nekim tumačenjima, Branimir Džoni Štulić, je posvetio svom polnom ogranu kako ga ne bi “izdao” u ključnim situacijama.
Piloti – Ne veruj u idole
Pjesmom “Ne veruj u idole”, Kiki Lesendrić, osnivač i vođa sastava Piloti, želio je da isprovocira članove grupe Idoli, zbog nesuglasica i svađa s pojedinim članovima benda.
EKV – Srce
Godinama se govori i o skrivenim porukama u tekstovima legendarnog sastava EKV. Tako je pjesma “Srce” posvećena bivšoj djevojci Milana Mladenovića, koja je umrla od posljedica konzumiranja heroina.
Haustor – Ena
Ovaj je hit posvećen bivšoj djevojci Darka Rundeka, koja je pobjegla za Kanadu nakon što ga nije uspjela da se izbori sa njegovim eksperimetisanjem s drogama.
